A Free Seminar was presented at Buzzy's on May 21, 2008 to animal loving members of the public to learn more "true facts" about Puppy Mills.

The goal of Buzzy's continual free seminars is to educate and explain the "true facts" to the public about many areas of the human-animal bond and the sharing of our lives with our companion animals.

EXPERT PANEL MEMBERS
Garen Meguerian: PA & NJ attorney representing consumers harmed by unscrupulous dog breeders and sellers. Cori Menkin: Attorney and expert on puppy mills who also lobbies for federal animal protection legislation and regulatory changes. Ann Metcalf: Filmed "Uncaged, Second Chances for Puppy Mill Breeder Dogs" a 25 minute DVD focusing on rescued puppy mill dogs. Buzz Miller: Founder of Buzzy's Bow Wow Meow and attorney involved in the advancement of the human-animal bond. Chris Shaughness: Pet Behavior Specialist providing counseling to adopters of dogs previously living in puppy mills. Bill Smith: Founder of Main Line Animal Rescue and recently on Oprah's show devoted solely to exposing the truth about puppy mills. Verne Smith: Assistant Dean & Animal Law Professor at Widener School of Law and a founding member of the Mid-Atlantic Animal Rights Coalition. Susan Spackman: Executive Director of Chester County SPCA who in 2006 removed over 330 dogs from an unlicensed kennel.
