First Friday Main Line Went to the Dogs!

On Friday, October 3, 2008 First Friday Main Line held its 2nd Annual Happy Howl-O-Ween Pooch Pageant. The dogs, kids and adults all had a howling and barking great time, as evidenced by the pictures!

The fantastic trio of guest judges were Brenda Viola, Public Information Officer of Lower Merion Township; Bill Smith, Founder of Main Line Animal Rescue; and Buzz Miller, owner of Buzzy's Bow Wow Meow. The winners for Most Original; Scariest and Funniest costumes all received gift certificates to Buzzy's Bow Wow Meow; and each participant received a *shopping bag* for Buzzy's Bow Wow Meow.

Main Line Animal Rescue was the featured charity for this event and received the pageant entry fees as a donation to their worthy cause on behalf of the animals.

We all look forward to the 3rd annual Pageant next October!

* These Shopping Bags*, which contain a $10 gift certificate to Buzzy's Bow Wow Meow, are available for purchase at a cost of $15.00 which goes directly to our Lower Merion K-9 Fundraising efforts. See "Wow! Events" K-9 Dog Fundraising for more information.
