HOWL-O-WEEN DOG WALK & PARADE/ CONTEST followed by SPOOKTACULAR EVENTS AT BUZZY'S

Rain or Shine

Despite the rainy weather, we had a great time on Saturday, October 24, 2009!

Dogs, along with adults and kids in costume, came together for a Howl-O-Ween Dog Walk at West Laurel Hill Cemetery in Bala Cynwyd. The Dog Walk began at 10 am with registration starting at 9 am. The event benefitted The Spayed Club, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing low cost spay/neuter for animals in the Greater Philadelphia area, in an effort to eliminate euthanasia of pets. Buzzy's was proud to sponsor this event.

AFTER THE DOG WALK - Buzzy's held a "Spooktacular" Halloween Pet Parade and Contest. We had a fun afternoon of activities from 1:30 to 5 pm, which included a Pet Parade and Contest with Prizes, a Puppet Master Show, a Caricaturist, Face Painting, Elwood - the World's Ugliest Dog, Henley and Judith Kristen, authors of children's books, and cats and dogs available for adoption.
