Blessing of the Animals

On Sunday, 11/2/08, Buzzy's Bow Wow Meow participated in a Blessing of the Animals at Main Line Reform Temple, Wynnewood, PA. In addition to dozens of companion animals, their human owners (from infants to seniors) also participated. Rabbi Ethan Franzel spoke about Noah's Ark, the reverence humans should have for all living creatures and the difficulty many humans have in coping with the loss of their companion animals.

This 1st Blessing of the Animals which will become an Annual Event was organized by 3 customers of Buzzy's: Minda Carp, Stephanie Novak and Ilene Wellner.

Buzz participates in a Pet Loss Support Group at Metropolitan Veterinary Associates in Valley Forge, PA. The group provides pet parents with a safe confidential environment to share their feelings with others who have experienced pet loss. The next meeting of the group is scheduled for Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at 7 PM. If you are having trouble coping with the loss or sickness of a companion animal, please join us!
