Great Fun with Elwood

On Sunday, February 14, 2010, Buzzy’s was filled with children and adults who celebrated Valentine’s Day with Elwood. Elwood is a great advocate of love for all living creatures and sends a message of why we should adopt and rescue a companion animal instead of buying one.

All proceeds raised and donations received were donated to PhilAdoptables. PhilAdoptables is dedicated to the welfare and adoption of 30,000+ stray and unwanted animals that arrive each year at the Philadelphia Animal Control Shelter, the Delaware Valley’s largest open admission, high-volume public shelter. We had many wonderful donations from children and families of items requested by PhilAdoptables.

We are always seeking donations of money, food, treats, toys, beds, clean linens (towels, sheets, blankets), plastic bags for waste removal, crates and carriers of all sizes, grooming supplies, Kong toys, etc. for shelters, rescues and foster organizations throughout the Delaware Valley.
