PSPCA "Good Dog Gala" was held before a Sold Out group of Animal Lovers on 2/21/09

PSPCA Thanks Buzzy's for help in filling many tables with Buzzy's wonderful customers and their companion animals.

The Third Annual Good Dog Gala celebration honored those individuals and groups who have made the biggest difference in the lives of animals throughout the State of Pennsylvania. This year’s benefit featured a cocktail reception, dinner, awards presentation and silent auction. Guests who were strongly encouraged to bring their dogs to the event as their guests (they came with or without formal wear!) filled the ballroom with hundreds of wonderful dogs. All proceeds from the Good Dog Gala went directly to the Pennsylvania SPCA’s efforts to rescue animals from abuse and neglect, including their work to stop puppy mills and dog-fighting. This was truly a fun evening for a great cause, with many dogs sitting at dinner next to their owners!

Honorees were Governor Edward G. Rendell; All Things Pawssible; Main Line Animal Rescue; Barbara A. Paul, Asst. District Attorney; Jennifer Utley; and Yaron Properties.
