We're more than just a department store. We're also all about finding the best homes for animals in need. We partner with rescue organizations and shelters to help place pets in loving environments. We host adoption events throughout the year - for cats, dogs, rabbits..even an occasional horse. You'll love interacting with adoptable dogs in our large outdoor area and wonderful dog park.

PET ADOPTION DRIVE -- HOME 4 THE HOLIDAYS

Buzzy's is happy to announce that we have joined Home 4 the Holidays which is a wonderful adoption program sponsored by the Helen Woodward Animal Shelter and Iams Pet Foods. In 1999 Michael Arms, President and Executive Director of the Helen Woodward Animal Shelter, developed the Home 4 the Holidays adoption program in an effort to find loving forever homes for sheltered pets. Every year during the holidays more and more adoptions have been made possible through this program. From 1999 when 2563 orphaned pets found new homes through last year, 2007, when a record 491,612 national adoptions took place over the holidays, this has proven to be a truly successful adoption program. This year's annual drive, in which Buzzy's is participating, takes place from October 1, 2008 until January 5, 2009 with a nationwide goal to adopt out 1,000,000 homeless companion animals.

Please consider adopting a homeless animal during this holiday season and giving that animal a loving forever home. During this holiday season, when our thoughts turn to the spirit of giving, let's include the homeless companion animals. We all know what a priceless wonderful loving addition our pets are to our lives -- let's share that feeling. So, please let Buzzy's help you find your new Best Friend.
